Q. What is the difference between OEM and “replacement”, “aftermarket” or “equivalent”?
A. (short and sweet) nothing but the price
A. (real) The OEM is the make of the part with the name brand of the Original Equipment Manufacture. Replacement parts are those that are manufactured to specifically fit the specifications of the OEM part. These parts can be of lesser, equal or superior quality.
Q. If we buy parts from Killer Filter will they be high quality or “OEM Quality”?
A. (short and sweet) yes
A. (a bit longer) Absolutely!
A. (even longer) Of course they will. Killer Filter carries 10′s of thousand of filters and every single one of them are tested to the OEM specifications. We take pride in being able to offer a superior product at a lower cost. We offer Killer Pricing to help you and the economy. In many cases OE manufactures charge too much for their parts. This can be due to high overhead, non customer based service, and sadly what we sometimes like to refer to as “Greed”.
Q. What if you ship us the wrong part?
A. Send it back, get a refund, easy as that we cover all cost involved
Q. What if we order the wrong Part?
A. In that case we charge a 20% restock fee. But, if you are unsure of your order, call us in advance and we will work with you to see if we can avoid a restock fee to test it out.
Q. Will our orders ship immediately?
A. We generally try to ship the same day if in stock, if out of stock it could be any length of time depending on production. If you need your part immediately, shoot us an email or give us a call. We will respond promptly.
